The session will equip you with the mindset, structure, and skills needed to create a high-performing, trust-based Forum experience from day one. Prerequisite to anyone interested in joining a YPO Forum.

The health of every forum is determined by the Moderator’s skill and mastery of forum protocol and key concepts. Forum Moderator & Leadership Development (FMLD) is an experiential workshop focusing on developing key leadership skills that are essential to today’s chief executives, and anyone seeking to sharpen their professional edge.

You will learn tools to lead your forum, including how to moderate the Four-Step Forum Exploration™, and walk away with leadership skills that, while rooted in forum protocol and practices, are applicable to your life outside of forum as a leader, partner and parent.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

• Apply basic facilitation skills in all aspects of a high-value forum meeting
• Determine the appropriate method for addressing conflict
• Identify potential areas for forum improvement and growth
• Identify effective ways to use the parking lot for selecting appropriate exploration topics
• Compose your forum leadership vision and create an action plan.

Training is a prerequisite to being Moderator of your Forum and YPO recommends a refresh every 3 years.

Forum magic happens.Whether it is one day or a full week, Forum Retreats are spaces for reflection, reconnection, and renewal. They allow the group to pause to go deeper, listen better, and rediscover the power of presence.

Each retreat is co-designed with the Moderator and carefully crafted to reflect the Forum’s unique stage, chemistry, needs and aspirations. Through custom themes, curated exercises, and emotional vocabulary tools, I guide the group through a shared experience that builds trust, unlocks insight, and strengthens the ties that hold a Forum together.

• 1-day retreat: Forum reset and reconnection, work around a specific topic.
• 2-day retreat: Forum deep dive, new themes, and personal storytelling
